Serge Mouille, an emblematic figure of twentieth-century lighting design, left his mark on design history with his revolutionary “Formes Noires” series in the 1950s. These pieces, which have become extremely rare since the artist’s death, are enjoying a renaissance thanks to our dedication to preserving their original essence. Made in France with absolute fidelity to Serge Mouille’s original designs, our re-editions are the fruit of artisanal production, using the same materials and techniques as the first creations. We’re committed to offering fixtures that not only illuminate, but also tell a story, enriching every space with their captivating presence.

Serge Mouille’s series of luminous columns remains the least known to the general public. The Totem is one of them. Composed of a succession of aluminum housings arranged head to tail. This central part houses the fluorescent tube. The cylindrical base hides the ballast, which rests on a round walnut base. The top cylinder houses a bulb that lights up towards the ceiling. Two sizes are available: 117 cm and 173 cm. The sources are controlled independently.
